“Furmint is one of the Danish wine world's best kept secrets. And what a shame, because in knowledgeable hands this grape has huge potential. Ma'd Moser is trying to bring it to the world, here with a barrel-aged version that has had 8 months in the barrel, and it can easily withstand that. It has a big broad-shouldered body, oily fullness, ripe fruit, crispness with fine tannins, crisp minerality and an acidity that is so sharp it almost hurts the mouth. It may not sound very pleasant, but it works incredibly well, creating a wine that is not afraid to show that it is a Furmint of the highest quality. "
